Regarding the challenges each enterprise has to meet, innovation is becoming a very important source of opportunities for enterprises that want to survive. Unfortunately, this innovative will is usually checked by a lack of human, material as well as financial means. Scientific circles have these means. That is the reason why collaboration between enterprises and universities is becoming increasingly necessary. Some organizations have been created in order to boost every kind of innovation to encourage these collaboration. Our research aims to develop a decision aid tool that can help these organizations determine the profile of the firms which are most able to generate an innovative process. Our decision aid tool consists of two sets of decision rules. Both were established with the rough set method. The first set of rules has been elaborated on the basis of first level attributes which don't require any contact with the enterprise. The second one is based on second level attributes.
