Abstract:	十勝地方の豊北海岸では、近年、十勝川から流出した漂着木の処理により、海浜や海岸草原の植生が破壊されている。漂着木の集積や重機・トラック類の走行によって、砂丘列の上が裸地化し、植生が分断したり、従来のウシノケグサ草原が外来種マメツヨイグサの群落に変化するなどの事態が進行している。漂着木の処理と海岸植生の保全を両立するための方法を早急に確立する必要がある。
