This paper describes and discusses the records of clinical psychological support activities conducted by graduate students and faculty of the Department of Clinical Psychology for undergraduate students under the declared state of emergency caused by COVID-19. The significance of this activity was found to be (1)that it could provide psychological support in the early stages of the spread of the infection, and (2) that it could identify needs that were overlooked by the existing community. In addition, three issues were found: (1)ambiguity in the purpose of activities, role assignment, and risk assessment; (2)clarification of conditions considered as practical training; and (3)organizational support system for graduate students. As a result of these factors, the burden on graduate students was considered to be very high. The difficulty of connecting with others due to the COVID-19 epidemic seems to have cast a deep shadow on the support activities.
