Abstract
Analytical studies and comparisons of analyses with experiments are reported for loads beyond the elastic range on a structure comprised of a series of parallel beams welded to the under side of a flat rectangular plate. Tables and graphs are given for determining the maximum deflections under load, residual deflections upon the release of load, load distribution to beams, beam moments and strains, and maximum plate strains.
