Abstract
In my research paper I asked if second generation Muslim American freshmen that moved away from their parents’ homes for the first time to go to college were satisfied with the way they practice Islam on UIUC campus. I interviewed second-generation Muslim Americans freshmen on the UIUC campus that live in the dormitories, both male and female, independent of the country of origin. I looked at what extent they practice Islam and how important the religion is to them. I also explored if the campus offers enough resources to practice Islam.
