Description
Most of the investigations recorded in this bulletin were
made by the authors while in the employ of the Richmond
Petroleum Company of Mexico, S. A., by whom permission
to publishhas been very generously extended. The Bureau
of Economic Geology is very gladto be the medium of publication
of this extended contribution to the geology hi
southern Texas and northern Mexico and acknowledges its
indebtedness both to the authors and to the company. It
is believed that the publication will be useful in a large way
to geologists and to the petroleum industry and other industries
based on the geologic sciences.
