Abstract:
Photograph depicting a cupboard belonging to Mrs. Carl van Heerden. It has three linenfold drawers, splayed corners, and a key block with sprays of leaves on both sides. The fielded door panels are shaped. It is the same piece described on p. 120, and shown in Fig. 155 on p. 125, of the 1960 edition of "Eighteenth Century Furniture in South Africa" by G. E. Pearse.
