The chapter examines the role of heraldry, household medicine, and females who doctored their large families whilst at the Tudor Court. New research explores medical regimen and physic which was central to birthing rites for all courtiers connected to the Privy Chamber of Henry VIII. These medical cultures of the body underpinned nobility and the authority of a Royal birthright in Tudor times.
