膀胱外括約筋電気刺激装置の適応の拡大 : 皮膚表面電極を有する膀胱外括約筋電気刺激装置について

Abstract

Tightening effect of the external vesical sphincter was obtained by electric stimulator with surface electrodes. A pair plate electrodes was put on the skin surface above the pudendal nerve just medial of ischial tuberosity. This new type stimulator is available for both surface electrodes and pessary electrodes by 22.5 volt battery. Stimulating effects of twenty cycles per second of ten to twenty voltages were studied by EMG of external vesical sphincter. Surface electrodes and pessary electrodes were applied to eight cases of urinary incontinence including five cases of neurogenic bladder dysfunction and three cases of stress incontinence after delivery. Satisfactory results of tightening of external vesical sphincter produced by electric stimulation of pudendal nerve trunk were reported.
