Abstract: | Plantar fasciopathy or plantar fasciitis is one of the most common presentations of foot pain to allied health practitioners (Hill et al., 2008). To treat plantar fasciopathy, foot orthotics in conjunction with new footwear are often used as they have been shown to reduce self-reported pain (Lee et al., 2009). However, it is not currently understood how this treatment combination results in positive clinical effects. |
