The collection consists of photographs of John Herrick Jackson depicting Skull and Bones members and building, crew team members, Jackson in crew uniform; and two etchings of Harkness Tower by Robert Kasimir.

Biographical / Historical

John Herrick Jackson was born on January 8, 1912, in New Haven, Connecticut. He graduated from Yale College with a B.A. in 1934. While at Yale, he participated in several extracurricular activities including Student Council and the Class Book Committee. He was a member of the Crew team for four years, serving as the team captain in his final year. He was also a member of Chi Psi, the Torch Honor Society, and Skull and Bones.
