Perivascular electromagnetic blood flow measurement

This thesis presents a study of an approach toward the measurement of blood flow in human subjects undergoing physiological evaluation. In the first part of this paper, theoretical aspects of the perivascular transducer are studied. The characteristics and particular difficulties encountered are explored and analyzed. The second part of the thesis discusses the choice of the magnetic field excitation for the system and projects the performances obtainable by the same.
