Peer tutoring and mentoring for transitioning middle school students

The literature indicates transitioning 6th grade middle school students endure increasing stressors as they adapt to their new school environment. The project focuses on the development of a training program for peer mentors and tutors to work with transitioning 6th grade middle school students based on findings that peers are one of the most strongest indicators of influence in an early adolescents life.
