A client audit manager for cloud computing using the cloudaudit automatic audit, assertion, assessment, and assurance (A6) API

There are several benefits to be obtained from cloud computing, including cost saving from economy of scale based on cloud computing's utility-based pricing model, elasticity of provided resources and self-service provisioning. Questions, however, are being asked about the security of such a computing model. In particular, auditability issues arise. IT resources are outsourced to this cloud providers and a bulk of the security executing rests with the cloud provider. Ideally, users would need assurances about resources outsourced to the cloud provider. The Client Audit Manager is a web based tool that aids in providing audit information about the cloud provider to the user. It obtains assurances that are required about the regulatory compliance in use by the cloud provider and also features a remote security scan with geolocation. The Client Audit Manager provides a user friendly interface that presents all this information to the user in a concise and panoptic manner, granting the user access to the useful information as quickly and as readable as possible.
