Technology Affecting Government

This research paper identifies various benefits and consequences technology has in the public sector. To gain an understanding, the research paper identifies how public administrators in the Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) in Los Angeles County utilize technology daily. The research design is a mixed-method approach with open and close-ended questions. Also, since there is no research done as to how DPSS utilizes technology daily, an exploratory research study will be conducted. The findings of this study will contribute to a better understanding of the different benefits and consequences public administrators have when technology is being used.
