Husk

Kevin Brooks returns to his small App alachian hometown of Elk Horn, Kentucky after his discharge from the Army. Suffering from severe PTSD and concussive brain injury, Kevin struggles with his pain and the memories of his time in Afghanistan. Once home he meets Samantha, a young woman with a tortured past of her own, who moved into the property next door with her mother and preacher father. The two quickly fall in love. For the first time since leaving for war, it appears as though Kevin may have found happiness. However, as his trauma intensifies, he begins seeing a strange creature that feeds on his feelings, drinks his blood, threatens the lives of those around him, and will not let him sleep.
