| Abstract: | The purpose of this dissertation was tocombine practical-theoretical research in theframework of systematic, repetitive and standardizedarchitecture, culminating in the presentationof a concrete architectural model.The work began with the design of acell-type, with presentation for an internationalarchitectural competition, "Sydney Affordablehousing", based on the one's previous work presentedfor the subject of Project 3.Simultaneously, the work of three architects-João Álvaro Rocha, Christopher Alexander,Alvar Aalto- was studied, as a reference tothe drawing of the type-cell, culminating in theapplication of this cell to different buildings, tryingto prove its adaptability and flexibility. |
| Description: | A presente dissertação teve como objetivoa conjugação da investigação prático-teóricano âmbito de arquitetura sistemática, repetitivae padronizada, culminando na apresentação deum modelo arquitetónico concreto.O trabalho teve início no desenho deuma célula-tipo, com apresentação para umconcurso internacional de arquitetura, "SydneyAffordable housing", baseada no anteriormenterealizado para a unidade curricular de Projeto 3.Em simultanêo, foi estudada a obra detrês arquitetos -João Álvaro Rocha, ChristopherAlexander, Alvar Aalto- como referência ao desenhoda célula-tipo, culminando na aplicaçãodessa célula a diferentes tipologias de edifícios,procurando comprovar a sua adaptabilidade eflexibilidade. |
