Transversalidade e Desenho, do pólo de arquitetura em Florença, para um projecto

Abstract

The following dissertation aims to discuss the role of architecture as a process-meeting device, based on the point of view of continuity with the principles of form that are inherent to the construction of the identity of the places, focusing on the reconversion of a ruined building in Gerês, the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba and the village of Faiões as a form of translating and understanding of the transversal nature of architecture in the making of places. By reading of the contemporary context, the intersection between architecture and anthropology, sociology and psychology, a practical approach is applied to a specific context, materialized in a design proposal for the pole of architecture in Florence, a modeling circumstance for the reflection and analysis of the city as a multidisciplinary, organic, aggregating and agitating network that enables and shapes itself in a permanent condition of overlapping and convergence.
