Measuring and reducing soybean harvesting losses
Abstract
"Numerous tests of soybean combine losses have shown that as much as 12 percent of the soybeans remain in the field after harvest. Harvesting losses cannot be reduced to zero, but they can be reduced to an acceptable level of about 5 percent the harvesting rate. This Guide describes the major sources of loss."--First page.
