Abstract(s)
avaliação e intervenção familiar; avaliar o impacto da aplicação do MDAIF no potencial de saúde das famílias;
The Dynamic Model of Family Assessment and Intervention (MDAIF), as a sustainer reference of family care practices, was co-built and validated by the research developed in Primary Health Care (PHC) context. In this framework the partners of the project intend to bring out systematic practices, leading to the empowerment of families, with the following objectives: to assess the impact of training, sustained by MDAIF, in the PHC nurses skills and in family intervention; to assess the impact of MDAIF implementation in the health of families; to deepen the dimensions of MDAIF categories in their areas of diagnostic and interventions specification. The research plan integrates a methods’ triangulation, considering the distinct characteristics of the contexts and it is developed in three stages. The target population for this project covers the geographical scope of the north region of the mainland of Portugal and São Miguel Island from the Autonomous Region of Azores, Portugal: 1.218.007 families and 3.053 PHC nurses. The evaluation of MDAIF’s training impact as allow identifying significant differences in perceived nurses’ competences regarding assessment and family intervention. To evaluate the impact of MDAIF implementation, it was defined structure, process and outcome panel indicators, resulting from the Minimum Data Sets. Regarding the referential deepening of the Model, proposals were developed for the operational strategies of the interventions proposed, under the Caregiver Role and Family Process. The MDAIF implementation as a reference for supporting family nurses decision-making, will produce new knowledge that will allow new practices that will introduce innovation processes in interactions with families.
