Australian Elegy: Landscape and Identity establishes Australian settler landscape elegy as concerned with land ownership and identity in a nation founded on colonization. In addition, it shows that Aboriginal elegy bears witness to the repercussions of colonialism and to the celebration of Indigenous cultures, both of which are obscured in settler elegy.
