This study focused on impulse vibration data, acquired from civil infrastructures, for vibration-based damage identification. Research conducted, served to demonstrate the plausibility of combining robust probabilistic modelling, and efficient algorithm development to analyse time-domain vibration data. Consequently, effective damage-sensitive features were extracted and developed, which were experimentally validated in efficacy.
