Abstract
Im Fokus der Dissertation steht die Erforschung der Übersetzung von kulturell bedingter ästhetischer und thematischer Vielfalt in den literarischen Werken. Den Ausgangspunkt der Erwägungen bildet die rezeptionsgeschichtlich fundierte Abhandlung, die nach der Rolle der literarischen Übersetzungen in Bezug auf die Sicherung eines internationalen Diskurses fragt. In den Mittelpunkt rückt somit das Leben eines der bedeutendsten Übersetzer der polnischen Literatur ins Deutsche – Klaus Staemmlers, dessen übersetzerische Werk bisher nicht erforscht wurde. Es wird demzufolge versucht, die übersetzerische Werkstatt zu rekonstruieren.Im zweiten Teil wird der Frage nachgegangen, wie sich der kulturelle Transfer dank der Übersetzung vollzieht. Auf Grund der wissenschaftlichen Ansätze wird ein Begriffsapparat entwickelt, der die Übertragung der kulturellen Begebenheiten aus einer in die andere Kultur anvisiert. Die anthropologische Fundierung zielt darauf ab, den Begriff des Kulturbildes auszuarbeiten und seine Implikationen für den kulturellen Transfer zu untersuchen. Den dritten Teil bildet eine eingehende Analyse des kulturellen Transfers anhand des entwickelten interdisziplinär fundierten Modells. Das Phänomen der Kulturbilder wird am Beispiel von Übersetzungen der Werke von Andrzej Szczypiorski und Stanisław Lem veranschaulicht.
W centrum rozważań niniejszej dysertacji znajduje się zbadanie możliwości tłumaczenia uwarunkowanej kulturowo i tematycznie różnorodności w dziełach literackich. Punkt wyjścia stanowią zorientowane na historię recepcji rozważania, których celem jest ustalenie roli tłumaczeń literackich jako czynnika zapewniającego międzynarodowy dyskurs. Tym samym w centrum rozważań znalazło się życie jednego z najwybitniejszych tłumaczy literatury polskiej na język niemiecki – Klausa Staemmlera, którego dorobek tłumaczeniowy nie został do tej pory zbadany. Niniejsza praca podejmuje zatem próbę rekonstrukcji warsztatu tłumaczeniowego tłumacza.Druga część pracy koncentruje się na pytaniach o przebieg transferu kulturowego za sprawą przekładu. Zaprojektowany na podstawie teorii naukowych aparat pojęciowy ma na celu umożliwić analizę transferu kulturowych aspektów z jednej kultury do drugiej. Antropologiczne ufundowanie rozważań zmierza do zdefiniowania pojęcia obrazu kultury i zbadania jego implikacji w obszarze transferu kulturowego.Trzecią część stanowi analiza transferu kulturowego na podstawie interdyscyplinarnie zaprojektowanego modelu analizy. Fenomen obrazów kultury jest tutaj przedstawiony na przykładzie tłumaczeń dzieł Andrzeja Szczypiorskiego i Stanisława Lema.
The core of this dissertation is studying the translation possibilities of culturally and thematically determined variety in literary work. In the first part one can find oriented to the history of reception considerations, which main purpose is to establish the role of literary translation as a factor that ensures international discourse. Thus, in the centre of considerations in this thesis is the life of Klaus Staemmler - one of the most famous translators of Polish literature into German, whose translation achievements has not been properly discovered yet. Therefore, this dissertation is an attempt to reconstruct the translator’s literary workshop. The second part of the dissertation is focused on the questions about the ways of the course of cultural transfer using translation. The conceptual apparatus created on the basis of scientific deliberations aims to enable the analysis of the transfer of cultural aspects from one culture to another. The anthropological foundation should define the notion of cultural picture and explore those implications in the area of cultural transfer. The third part is an analysis of cultural transfer based on interdisciplinary established analysis-model. The phenomenon of cultural pictures is shown in the examples of translations from the novels by Andrzej Szczypiorski and Stanisław Lem.
