The PDF for the 9/12/80 meeting is 133 pages long and covers topics such as: conferring of emeritus status and academic rank for specified individuals; revision of the Code of Student Affairs; a high number of graduate degrees awarded; a high record of grants and contract awards; gift of a transmitter tower; approval of 10 acres of land be sold to the Texas Tech Inter-Fraternity Housing Corporation for sorority and fraternity lodging; and numerous building project updates such as development of a new Intercollegiate Baseball Facility and acceptance date for the construction of the Student Recreation Center.
