| Abstract: | Agostinho de Hipona pode, em muitos aspectos, ser associado à educação, seja no contexto profissional, visto que o Pai da Igreja também fora professor; seja devido a suas investigações sobre os temas referentes ao ensino e à aprendizagem. Notamos, em obras como De magistro, De Trinitate, Confessiones, dentre outras, interessantes considerações sobre o processo cognitivo e as condições que permitem que o ato de ensinar seja possível. O objetivo deste trabalho consiste em analisar aspectos pedagógicos presentes na obra de Agostinho de Hipona, relevando questões como significação, motivação na aprendizagem e o papel da memória, da inteligência e da vontade na construção do saber.
Augustine of Hippo can, in many ways, be linked to education, whether in a professional context, since the Father of the Church also had been a teacher; or because of their research on topics related to teaching and learning. We note, in works such as De magistro, De Trinitate, Confessiones, among others, interesting considerations about de cognitive process and the conditions that permit the teaching can be possible. The aim of this work consists in to analyse pedagogic aspects present at Augustine of Hippo's texts, pointing out questions such as meaning, motivation in learning and the role of memory, intelligence and will in the building of knowledge. |
