Abstract
Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, eğitim alanında zihinsel model üzerine yayınlanmış olan ulusal araştırmaları bazı değişkenlere göre bir araya getirerek sunmaktır. Bu amaçla 2002-2016 yılları arasında eğitim alanında zihinsel modelle ilgili yayınlanmış 14’ü makale, 17’si yüksek lisans tezi ve ikisi doktora tezi olmak üzere 33 çalışma araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmalar içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Çalışmaların her biri gerekçe, amaç, konu alanı, yöntem, bulgular ve sonuç değişkenlerine göre uygun temalara ayrılmıştır. Ayrıca bu temalar tablolaştırılmış ve ortak bir anlam ilişkisi içerisinde benzerlik ve farklılıklarına göre gruplara ayrılmıştır. Çalışmalar incelendiğinde en fazla “atom, evren ve kimya” konu alanlarının çalışıldığı, örneklemin çoğunlukla öğrencilerden seçildiği, yöntem olarak durum çalışmaların ve veri toplama aracı olarak da çizimlerin daha fazla tercih edildiği görülmüştür. Sonuçlara dayalı olarak bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The main aim of this study is to exhibit national researches published on the mental model in education by combining them according to some variables. For this purpose, the sample of this study is composed of 33 researches including 14 articles, 17 master and two doctorate theses published on the mental model in the field of education between 2002-2016. These researches were analyzed via content analysis method. Each research is divided into the appropriate themes according to the variables of justification, purpose, topic area, method, findings and general knowledge claims. These themes are tabulated and divided into groups according to their similarities and differences within a common meaning consensus. When studies were examined, it was seen that the most selected topic areas were "atom, universe and chemistry", the sample was mostly selected from “the students”, “the case studies” as the method and “the drawings” as the data collection tool were preferred. Some suggestions were made based on the results.
