Ensinando estatística descritiva: um projeto para o ensino médio

Resumo
É fato que alunos , de uma maneira geral, não são motivados a analisar tabelas e gráficos nas resoluções de exercícios durante as aulas. Assim informações e entendimento de situações exploradas nestas formas, são analisadas de maneira superficial , ocultando a real necesidade pelo qual foram criados. Este trabalho tem o objetivo de apresentar ao aluno como as tabelas e gráficos são gerados, utilizando para isso a Estatística Descritiva através da coleta e tratamento dos dados, análise de tabelas e gráficos. Para isso foi desenvolvido o trabalho prático com os alunos do 1º ano A do Ensino Médio, tendo a intensão de torná-los mais próximos destes conteúdos, incentivando-os a se empenharem mais nas análises de tabelas e gráficos no seu dia a dia. No decorrer deste período os alunos realizaram a pesquisa, analisaram os dados, criaram as tabelas e gráficos e após todo esse desenvolvimento o resultado foi exposto na escola para que os alunos da comunidade escolar tivessem uma resposta do questionário que foi respondido por cada um deles. Com este trabalho pôde-se perceber que os alunos conseguiram realizar as atividades, assimilando como as fases devem ser executadas para que se consiga atingir o objetivo esperado no final de todo o trabalho. O resultado do trabalho foi encaminhado à coordenação da escola onde alguns pontos relevantes foram analisados e esta pôde informar como a escola está ou irá trabalhar em relação as mudanças necessárias de acordo com a situação colocada pelos alunos ao responderem o questionário.
It is a fact that students, in general, are not motivated to analyze tables and graphs in the resolutions of exercises during the classes. Thus information and understanding of situations explored in these forms are analyzed in a superficial way, hiding the real necessity for which they were created. This work aims to present to the student how the tables and graphs are generated, using Descriptive Statistics through the collection and treatment of data, analysis of tables and graphs. For this, the practical work was developed with the students of the 1st year A of the High School, with the intention of making them closer to these contents, encouraging them to engage more in the analysis of tables and graphs in their day to day. During this period the students performed the research, analyzed the data, created the tables and graphs and after all this development the result was exposed in the school so that the students of the school community had a response of the questionnaire that was answered by each of them. With this work it was realized that the students were able to carry out the activities, assimilating how the phases must be executed in order to achieve the expected objective at the end of all the work. The result of the work was sent to the coordination of the school where some relevant points were analyzed and it could inform how the school is or will work in relation to the necessary changes according to the situation placed by the students when answering the questionnaire.
