Pion-baryon coupling constants in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2000-01-01)
We calculate the pi Sigma Lambda and pi Sigma Sigma coupling constants in light cone QCD sum rules for the structure sigma(alpha beta)gamma(5)p(alpha)q(beta). A comparison of our results on these coupling constants with the predictions of SU(6) symmetry is presented.
Pion electroproduction in parity violating elastic ep scattering experiment
Ong, S; Rekalo, MP; Van de Wiele, J (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1999-10-01)
This study has been developed for electron-proton scattering experiments when only the scattered electrons are detected. Pion electroproduction on the proton including the cascade pi(o) --> 2 gamma decay and the QED radiative corrections to elastic ep scattering are investigated. Our results are shown in the kinematical configuration of the parity violating electron scattering experiment planned at the Mainz Microtron (MAMI).

Dijet Azimuthal Decorrelations in pp Collisions at root s=7 TeV
Khachatryan, V.; et. al. (2011-03-01)
Measurements of dijet azimuthal decorrelations in pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV using the CMS detector at the CERN LHC are presented. The analysis is based on an inclusive dijet event sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2: 9 pb(-1). The results are compared to predictions from perturbative QCD calculations and various Monte Carlo event generators. The dijet azimuthal distributions are found to be sensitive to initial-state gluon radiation.
HARMONIC MAPS AND MAGNETOSTATIC, AXIALLY-SYMMETRICAL SOLUTIONS OF THE KALUZA-KLEIN THEORY
DERELI, T; ERIS, A; ERIS, A; Karasu, Atalay (1986-05-01)
Magnetostatic, axially symmetric 5-dimensional vacuum Einstein equations are formulated in terms of harmonic maps. A correspondence between stationary, axially symmetric 4-dimensional vacuum Einstein solutions and the magnetostatic, axially symmetric Jordan-Thiry solutions is established. The «Kaluza-Klein magnetic monopole» solution is recovered in a special case.
