In this work we study the kappa K+pi(-) vertex in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules. We predict the coupling constant g kappa K+pi(-) to be g kappa K+pi(-) = (6.0 +/- 1.0) GeV and estimate the scalar f(0) - sigma mixing angle from the experimental ratio g(2)(kappa -> K pi)/g(2)(sigma -> pi pi).

kappa K*(0)gamma-vertex in light cone QCD sum rules
Gokalp, A.; SARAÇ OYMAK, YASEMİN; Yılmaz Tüzün, Özgül (American Physical Society (APS), 2008-06-01)
We investigate the kappa K*(0)gamma-vertex in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules. We estimate the coupling constant g(kappa K)*(0)gamma, and compare our result with that used in the nonlinear chiral Lagrangian approach using the vector-meson dominance model in the SU(3) limit.
Electromagnetic form factors of the rho meson in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2004-11-01)
We investigate the electromagnetic form factors of the rho meson in light cone QCD sum rules. We find that the ratio of the magnetic and charge form factors is larger than 2 at all values of Q(2), (Q(2)greater than or equal to0.5 GeV2). The values of the individual form factors at fixed values of Q(2) predicted by the light cone QCD sum rules are quite different compared to the results of other approaches. These results can be checked in the future, when more precise data on rho meson form factors is availa...
Strong coupling constants of decuplet baryons with vector mesons
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2010-11-10)
We provide a comprehensive study of strong coupling constants of decuplet baryons with light nonet vector mesons in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules. Using the symmetry arguments, we argue that all coupling constants entering the calculations can be expressed in terms of only one invariant function even if the SU(3)(f) symmetry breaking effects are taken into account. We estimate the order of SU(3)(f) symmetry violations, which are automatically considered by the employed approach.
Analysis of heavy spin-3/2 baryon-heavy spin-1/2 baryon-light vector meson vertices in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2011-05-16)
The heavy spin-3/2 baryon-heavy spin-1/2 baryon vertices with light vector mesons are studied within the light cone QCD sum rules method. These vertices are parametrized in terms of three coupling constants. These couplings are calculated for all possible transitions. It is shown that correlation functions for these transitions are described by only one invariant function for every Lorenz structure. The obtained relations between the correlation functions of the different transitions are structure independe...
Sigma(Q)Lambda(Q)pi coupling constant in light cone QCD sum rules
Azizi, K.; Bayar, M.; Özpineci, Altuğ (American Physical Society (APS), 2009-03-01)
The strong coupling constants g(Sigma Q)Lambda(Q)pi (Q=b and c) are studied in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules using the most general form of the baryonic currents. The predicted coupling constants are used to estimate the decay widths for the Sigma(Q)->Lambda(Q)pi decays which are compared with the predictions of the other approaches and existing experimental data.
