gg --> gamma (f) over bar f scattering is discussed in the strongly interacting phase of MSSM. The rate for the decay h --> gamma (f) over bar f is computed in the MSSM and SM, and the values of the Higgs-sfermion coupling needed for the former to dominate on the latter are identified. It: is found that the MSSM signal dominates on the SM for Higgs-sfermion couplings well below the one needed for developing stopponium bound states via Higgs mediation.

CP violation in the lepton flavor violating interactions mu -> e gamma and tau ->mu gamma
Iltan, EO (American Physical Society (APS), 2001-12-01)
We calculate the possible CP violating asymmetries for lepton flavor violating decays mu --> e gamma and tau --> mu gamma. Our predictions depend on the chosen ne model independent contribution. The result of the measurement, of such asymmetries for theme decays will provide valuable information about file physics beyond the standard model.
Measurement of the production cross section for Z gamma -> nu(nu)over-bar gamma in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV and limits on ZZ gamma and Z gamma gamma triple gauge boson couplings
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2013-10-01)
A measurement of the Z gamma -> nu(nu) over bar gamma cross section in pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV is presented, using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.0 fb(-1) collected with the CMS detector. This measurement is based on the observation of events with an imbalance of transverse energy in excess of 130 GeV and a single photon in the absolute pseudorapidity range vertical bar eta vertical bar nugamma production cross section is measured to be 21.1 +/- 4.2(stat.)+/- 4.3(syst.)+/- 0.5(...
Raman frequency shifts for the rotatory lattice mode close to the melting point in ammonia solid I
Karacali, H; Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit (American Chemical Society (ACS), 2005-09-08)
We correlate here the thermal expansivity alpha(p) to the frequency shifts 1/v(partial derivative v/partial derivative P)(T) for the rotatory lattice (librational) mode in ammonia solid I close to the melting point. This is carried out for the pressures of 0, 1.93, and 3.07 kbar at various temperatures for this solid structure. By obtaining linear plots of alpha(p) versus 1/v(partial derivative v/partial derivative P)(T) for the pressures studied, we extract the values of the slope dP(m)/dT according to our...
Associative charm photoproduction with circularly polarized photons
Rekalo, MP; Tomasi-Gustafsson, E (2002-08-08)
We calculate the asymmetries for the processes gamma + p --> Lambda(c)(+) (Sigma(c)(+)) + (D-0) over bar and gamma + p --> Lambda(c)(+)(Sigma(c)(+)) + (D*) over bar, induced by circularly polarized photons on a polarized proton target in the framework of an effective Lagrangian model. We found large and positive values for the asymmetry induced by the z-component of the proton polarization, in a wide energy region, from threshold up to E-gamma = 70 GeV In the case of pseudoscalar meson photoproduction, the ...
Tight contact structures on hyperbolic three-manifolds
Arıkan, Mehmet Fırat (Elsevier BV, 2017-11-01)
Let Sigma(g) denote a closed orientable surface of genus g >= 2. We consider a certain infinite family of Sigma(g)-bundles over circle whose monodromies are taken from some collection of pseudo-Anosov diffeomorphisms. We show the existence of tight contact structure on every closed 3-manifold obtained via rational r-surgery along a section of any member of the family whenever r not equal 2g - 1. Combining with Thurston's hyperbolic Dehn surgery theorem, we obtain infinitely many hyperbolic closed 3-manifold...
