Summary	Ming's commander reports to him Flash's rocket was brought down and exploded as it landed. They then fired a twenty-mile circle of forest. Ming broadcasts to all on the planet of Mongo that Flash and his companions were burned alive. Flash's friend Barin and Aura hear the emperor speaking about killing Flash. Barin has his people search for Flash and his comrades. Meanwhile Flash, Dale and Zarkov are in the water holding on to a log. Flash is bandaging Zarkov's arm.
