A ciência estava dentro
Positivistic epistemology set on a great ambiguity: believed to hit the truth from well delineated presuppositions that made possible not only to infer the science, but also to make the separation between science and non science. Science was in borders in which everything was explained by universal laws, valid in time and space. Non science was conceived by questions of taste and abstract realities, value judgements and by ethics. The ambiguity existed in a symbiotic way as an alleged world of assurances. Social sciences (like economics in particular) soon made an approach to positivism, which methodology and epistemology spread a carpet to the new born social sciences. The positive economics would create a kind of “black box” where everything is explained by accepted and ethically neutral presuppositions. The ambiguity went on social sciences. This ambiguity became clear through an adoption of an instrumented rationalism that makes quickly the best affectation of proper ways to hit the target. Technically efficient, the instrumentalism created an abstract «homo oeconomicus» that became neither human being, neither economic being: it is an abstract creation such as the modern science became that way. The homocentric paradigm created by modernity, that positivism denaturalised, is now deconstructed and reconstructed in a new paradigm from other vectors (also irrationals) that are transverse at being in the real world, to the effort by pursuing the truth, but now turned to the welfare of the human being that has to be free to be responsible and, responsibly, realise what he most improve. Freedom to be and to act requires responsibility “ad intra” and “ad extra”: “ad intra” because ontologically creative and “ad extra” because constitutive of justice and equity. In this perspective, only the community spirit is able to create an ambient of realisation and happiness that volatilise the “gaps” that separate the owning and the being, becoming the human being prior in all his dimensions. In an informal relationship ambient, the freedom practice assumes be the legitimate practice of solidary humanism in which each man realizes himself not only as individual, but, essentially, in his relationship with others. After all, the efficient economic rationalism (that created it own wastes) ends by accepting that welfare is much more than an «escape forward»: the recovery of what was remaining behind, mainly when is human, is essential to all human and social progress. |
