The Yeri documentation project included 45 weeks of fieldwork in Sandaun Province, Papua New Guinea by Jennifer Wilson between 2010 and 2014. The initial trip of 14 weeks was funded by NSF grant #0756075, while fieldtrips of 19 weeks in 2012 and 12 weeks in 2014 were funded by the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology by means of a doctoral fellowship Jennifer received.
