Summary:
The first issue of Held Like Sound, a fanzine that covered the punk and indie rock music scenes in Washington, D.C. from 1997 to 2001. Edited by John Davis (a musician who later played in the bands Q And Not U and Georgie James), this issue included interviews with Braid, The Most Secret Method, Sarge, Boys Life, Polyvinyl Records, Compound Red, The Van Pelt, and others, as well as many reviews of commercial recordings.
