Parole d’amore nella poesia dialettale maghrebina: alcune osservazioni

is paper analyzes some words belonging to the semantic sphere of love and Eros, both in fus.h. ā and in Maghrebi Arabic, used by the poet in an anonymous popular poem. e selected terms offered here contribute to the creation of some images shared by classical Arabic poetry and dialectal popular love poetry. e latter has its roots in al-Andalus from which it spread to many other Maghrebi and Mashreqi countries, in which many genres of it are still performed and appreciated.
