MOB-BG - Mobilitätsskala

Die MOB-BG erhebt die geografische und berufliche Mobilitätsbereitschaft mit je 10 Items. Reliabilität: Cronbachs Alpha betrug Alpha = .68-.91. Validität: Es konnten die erwarteten zwei Faktoren identifiziert werden. Beide Mobilitätsskalen korrelierten in der Konstruktionsstichprobe untereinander zu r = .54 und bei Dette (2001) zu r = .17. Die Bereitschaft zur Berufsmobilität war bei den zukünftigen Gymnasiallehrern signifikant schwächer ausgeprägt als bei den Diplomstudierenden und den zukünftigen Berufsschullehrern. Die Bereitschaft zur geographischen Mobilität war bei den Diplomstudierenden signifikant stärker ausgeprägt als bei den Lehramtsanwärtern. Erwartungskonform zeigte sich, dass die Ungewissheitstoleranz zusätzlich zum Studienziel sowohl die Bereitschaft zur Berufsmobilität als auch zur geographischen Mobilität vorhersagte. In einem komplexen Pfadmodell zur Vorhersage unterschiedlicher Facetten der Mobilitätsbereitschaften bei Realschülern erwies sich erneut die Ungewissheitstoleranz als signifikanter Prädiktor der beruflichen Mobilitätsbereitschaft. Wenn darüber hinaus die beruflichen Ziele der Schüler bereits ausgeprägt waren und wenn bereits eine Berufsausbildung geplant war, dann war die berufliche Mobilitätsbereitschaft gering ausgeprägt. Je positiver die Einstellungen der Eltern und Peers zur geographischen Mobilität waren, je ausgeprägter der Individualismus und je schwächer der Kollektivismus waren, desto ausgeprägter war die geografische Mobilitätsbereitschaft der Schüler.

Both mobility scales correlated with each other in the construction sample to r = .54 and with Dette (2001) to r = .17. The readiness for professional mobility was significantly less pronounced among future high school teachers than among diploma students and future vocational school teachers. The readiness for geographical mobility was significantly more pronounced among diploma students than among prospective teachers. In line with expectations, the tolerance of uncertainty predicted both the readiness for professional mobility and geographical mobility in addition to the study objective. In a complex path model for the prediction of different facets of the willingness to be mobile among secondary school students, the tolerance of uncertainty again proved to be a significant predictor of the willingness to be professionally mobile. Moreover, if the students' occupational goals were already pronounced and if vocational training was already planned, then the occupational mobility readiness was low. The more positive the attitudes of parents and peers towards geographic mobility, the more pronounced the individualism and the weaker the collectivism, the more pronounced the students' willingness to be geographically mobile.
