This work is based on the formulation of a model for the planning, programming and control of production in the company Metálicas Vásquez. Starting with a diagnosis of the current process, which was carried out by conducting several observation days at each job. The above allowed the author to identify the strengths and weaknesses present in the process, with the aim of suggesting improvements that will contribute to the increase in productivity in the organization. Once the diagnosis is made, a proposal is found that improves and standardizes the company's operations using a work study that will be divided into two parts. The first corresponds to a study of methods that will allow the development of a proposal that improves the production times of the operators. In the second part, the efficiency of the proposed improvement will be demonstrated by comparing the current method as proposed, using a time study for a group of ornate windows. Next, 4 programming policies were developed that will allow, together with the heuristic programming model CDS, to synchronize the supply of material, with the production of the order and the delivery of this, causing an improvement in customer service through the fulfillment of dates of delivery. Then, three control methods were proposed focused on examining the state of the product during the production system and the repositioning of data necessary to make corrections in the system, this will allow the workshop to have greater control of the material stock to prevent theft, loss or waste. Finally, conclusions of the developed model are presented, allowing materialize the theoretical knowledge acquired in the university career.
