Özet
Bu tez kapsamında Gümüşhane İli, Merkez İlçe, Bağlarbaşı Mahallesi, 285 ada 15 numaralı parselde yer alan Hüseyin Soysal Evi konu alınmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında yapının mevcut durumunun belgelenmesi, yapının bulunduğu bölgede çok fazla örnek olmaması sebebi ile Gümüşhane genelindeki geleneksel konutların incelenerek teze konu olan yapı ile ilgili benzer yönlerinin saptanması ve yapının korunmasına yönelik müdahaleler ile birlikte yeni işlev önerilmesi hedeflenmiştir.
Bağlarbaşı Mahallesi’nde yer alan yapı ile ilgili yazılı ve görsel kaynak olmaması nedeni ile ev sahiplerinden İsmail F. Soysal ile yapılan görüşmeler, yapının tarihi süreci ve mimarisi hakkında yol gösterici olmuştur. Hüseyin Soysal tarafından yaptırılan konutun iki aşamada tamamlanmış olduğu öğrenilmiştir. 1940’lı yılların başında yapının bodrum kat ve zemin katının yapıldığı; 1940’lı yılların sonuna doğru ise üst katlar ile birlikte yapıya ait müştemilat kısmının yapıldığı bilgisine ulaşılmıştır. Hüseyin Bey ve eşi Zekiye Hanım’ın vefatından sonra süre daha kullanılan ev günümüzde atıl haldedir.
Hüseyin Soysal Evi, Gümüşhane’deki geleneksel konutu yansıtan ve günümüze kadar gelebilen örneklerden biridir. Tez kapsamında, bölgedeki geleneksel konutlar incelenmiş ve teze konu olan yapı ile benzerlikleri tespit edilmiştir. Hüseyin Soysal Evi’nin mevcut durumu fotoğraflar, rölöve çizimleri, malzeme ve hasar analizleri yapılarak belgelenmiştir. Restitüsyon çalışmaları yapılırken bölgedeki geleneksel konutlar ve bu konutlara ait eski fotoğraflar incelenmiş; evin sahiplerinden olan İsmail F. Soysal ile görüşmeler yapılmış; mahalleliden yapının özgün haline tanıklık etmiş olanlardan bilgi alınmıştır. Restitüsyon çizimlerinde elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda, yeniden kullanıma yönelik müdahale ve koruma ilkeleri belirlenerek analizler yapılmıştır. Bakımsız olmasına rağmen özgünlüğünü yitirmemiş olan bu geleneksel konutun daha fazla zarar görmeden korunabilmesi için yeni işlev önerisine uygun restorasyon projesi hazırlanarak gelecek nesillere aktarılabilmesi hedeflenmiştir
Within the research, civil architecture building located in 15 plot and 285 parcel in Bağlarbaşı Mahallesi in Gümüşhane is studied. This thesis aimed to document the current conditions of the structure, to determine the similarities of the traditional houses located in Gümüşhane to this house on the grounds that there were a limited number of similar houses in the above mentioned location, to suggest measures to protect the house and to suggest a new function for the house. Considering that there is neither written nor visual source material on the house located in Bağlarbaşı Mahallesi, so that Ismail F. Soysal, its present owner, was interviewed to collect information about the history and architecture of the house. According to him, the house was built in two stages. Its basement and ground floors were built in the early 1940s; its upper floors and annex were built in the late 1940s. The house was used for a time after Hüseyin Soysal and his wife Zekiye passed away, and is dilapidated in the present. The Hüseyin Soysal house is one of the examples of traditional Gümüşhane houses that still stand. As part of this thesis, the local traditional houses were surveyed and their similarities with this house were determined. The present status of the Hüseyin Soysal house was documented with photos, measured drawings, material analysis and damage analysis. As part of the restitution works, the local traditional houses and their old photos were surveyed, its present owner Ismail F. Soysal was interviewed, and information was received from people who had witnessed the original state of the house. The data collected by means of restitution drawings were analyzed to develop measures and utilization principles for the reuse of the house. Although it is dilapidated, this house still preserves its original condition, so that a restoration drawing was created in accordance with the new function suggested for it to ensure this traditional house not to suffer further damage and to pass it on to the next generations.
