Abstract: Recognizing myself as a black woman in my youth was a challenge, which it was only possible to overcome, because I had experiences in Cultural Movements of African Matrix that presented me with other possibilities of seeing the world and that made me feel part of of the whole. Even with many doubts in the face of what was new, I was sure of one thing: that I had found a place where I could be myself, with very remote possibilities of being discriminated against, which today, according to my current understanding, I understand to be racism itself. Statistical data point to a growing Genocide, Femicide and Suicide among Black Youth, and this is due to several issues, including the lack of self-identification. In view of this, I intend in this present dissertation to share my autobiographical memories, aligning with my learning, my trainers and trainers, in the studies of decolonial authors, in the search for the construction of a knowledge with less influence of the hegemonic Eurocentric standards, based on the reflections of " Movimento Negro Educador" by Nilma Lino Gomes, given the importance of Cultural Movements of African Matrix in Campinas and their Epistemic Decolonialities, for my process of finding myself in the world. These movements also reverberate in my actions in my field of work and research and to illustrate this I will bring the trajectory of Rede Articula Juventudes, a network in which I acted as one of the leaders, and which has a Freirean methodology in its articulations and mobilizations of black and peripheral youth. This tour will be covered to answer the following questions: Is REAJU a black educational movement? What are the influences of the work of the cultural groups of Tradition of African Matrix in the work of the Articula Juventudes Network? Is there a decoloniality present in the methodology of the Articula Juventudes Network? What are the possibilities of thinking and systematizing a political pedagogical proposal with the cultural movement of African origin in Campinas?
