Abstract: The objective of this thesis was to establish fourteen unpublished and autographs texts by Ricardo Guilherme Dicke, accompanied by a critical study in which we point out and discuss the lines of force that structure his poetics. We believe we have shown that in his short novels Dicke proposes a game in which he attributes to nature and art privileged roles in the search for a re-enchantment of the world, in order to escape from chronological time and overcome the dichotomy between life and death. Between the warp of ornamental language and the weft of a metaphysics elaborated in the city and in the backlands, we saw a singular narrator emerging in texts that bears no resemblance to the books published in the late 1960s. Bringing these unpublished short novels to the public, showing the procedures of his prose, and presenting a short but detailed biography, we hope to have contributed to a better appreciation of Dickean literature
