Abstract :
[en] This brief review describes the current status of the tuberculosis endemics in Belgium as well as the position of this country in the management of the disease: there is no come back of Mycobacterium tuberculosis but a stagnation which further postpones the time of eradication. Some very general considerations about multiresistance are then presented, owing to the raising possibility of being confronted to this problem in the next future, together with more and more numerous cases of so called atypical mycobacteriosis. Simple and general guidelines from the recent literature about tuberculosis, multiresistance and non tuberculous bacteria are briefly recalled.
