[fr] Ce texte vise à explorer les relations entre les travaux de Charles Goodwin et la sémiotique contemporaine. Dans un premier temps, j’aborde la question des relations entre langages verbal, visuel et gestuel en sémiotique, en étudiant le système notationnel (transcription des échanges) proposé par Goodwin du point de vue de la question des unités constitutives. Un deuxième temps est consacré aux points de rencontre entre la conception du substrat chez Goodwin et la praxis énonciative de Fontanille, pour penser la relation dynamique entre sédimentation et transformation. Dans un troisième temps, j’examine le concept de raisonnement diagrammatique en revenant sur l’exemple des « premières inscriptions » des géologues étudié par Goodwin. Le raisonnement diagrammatique étudié ici fonctionne comme un dispositif de découverte qui permet d’exemplifier la dynamique entre sédimentation et nouveauté. Ce type de dispositif est remis en perspective avec les pratiques de transcription de Goodwin. [en] This text investigates the connexion between the work of Charles Goodwin and contemporary semiotics. I initially address the relations between verbal, visual, and gestural languages in semiotic terms by exploring the Goodwin’s notational system (transcription of exchanges) from the point of view of its constituent units. Secondly, I consider the meeting points between Goodwin’s concept of the substrate and Fontanille’s enunciative praxis in order to examine the dynamic relationship between sedimentation and transformation. Finally, I analyse the concept of diagrammatic reasoning by elaborating on the example of the geologists’ “first inscriptions” studied by Goodwin. The form of diagrammatic reasoning examined here functions as a discovery device that exemplifies the dynamics of sedimentation and novelty, and it can thus be studied in the framework of Goodwin’s transcription practices.
