Abstract
The purpose of the social work interest survey at Angelo State University, Department of Psychology and Sociology, was to determine the amount of interest in baccalaureate level social work among students in efforts to establish student desire for a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree. A second goal was to determine how many students would be potential social work majors if a BSW degree is offered at Angelo State University. Ultimately, this is an important aspect of the proposal process for a new degree, specifically the BSW degree at Angelo State University.
