In this report, I provide a detailed description of the task of finding the necessary components and building and writing the appropriate code for a working wireless thermostat for a smart home. Basically the modification of a regular Heating control module to facilitate control by a mobile device via a Raspberry pi 3 and investigate opportunities Bluetooth or WiFi module connection to the heating unit.
