Resumen: | The present paper deals with the analysis of the dynamic behaviour of a medieval tower placed in a landslide area. All the available documents have been analysed, a geometrical survey was performed and a visual inspection, in order to verify the actual conditions of the tower with respect to the effects of the landslide and the degradation of the structural materials, was conducted too. Interesting conclusions have been obtained about the integrity state of the tower and the proposed procedure could be generalized to predict the behaviour of the tower under other kinds of unexpected environmental events. |
