Abstract

This issue's articles address the problems of underdrainage of fields, the utilization of swampy soils, and factors influencing the price of Ontario fruit. Agricultural articles report on the Tenth International Livestock Exhibition in Chicago, the results of the livestock judging team at Chicago, the Ontario Provincial Winter Fair in Guelph, and good road construction. The Horticulture column outlines the value of education in vegetable growing, and the invasiveness of the Gypsy Moth and the Brown-Tail Moth. Campus news reports on the activities of theatre night, Union Literary Society, Y. M. C. A., Athletic Association, and the Ontario Agricultural and Experimental Union banquet. The Macdonald Institute column outlines the benefits of an education in domestic science at the college, and women's Literary Society activities. Alumni news is available in the Alumni column.
