Modernas ideas sobre la estructura físico-química de la materia fundamental de la hulla

Abstract

[EN] The present ideas about the structure and constitution of the carbonaceous matter are reviewed in the paper, particularly the Bangham's micelar hypothesis and the statistical method of structural analysis followed by van Krevelen, Dryden and others to deduce structural patterns starting from the physical properties of coals, and pointing out several examples of possible patterns. Results reached by means of another methods (radiographic, of oxidation, etc.), are also considered. Finally, it is exposed the procedure followed by van Krevelen and coworkers for synthesizing substances of an analogous behaviour to that of the coal, starting from aromatic compounds.

[ES] Se revisan las ideas actuales sobre estructura y constitución de la materia carbonosa, especialmente la hipótesis micelar de Bangham y el método estadistíco de análisis estructural seguido por van Krévelen, Dryden y otros para deducir modelos estructurales a partir de las propiedades físicas de los carbones, indicando algunos ejemplos de posibles modelos. Asimismo se consideran los resultados obtenidos por otros métodos (radiográficos, de oxidación, y etc.), y finalmente se expone el procedimiento seguido por van Krevelen y sus colaboradores para sintetizar sustancias de comportamiento análogo al de la hulla, a partir de compuestos aromáticos.
