ResumenIn this introduction we would like to further characterize this close tie between prehistory and the press. We will not resume the individual articles. Rather, we will identify some of the major themes that the six papers of this special issue have in common and that may serve to indicate new research agendas in this field. First though we will briefly analyse the reasons of this fruitful union between stones and bones and ink and paper.
