Within the continuum shell model, we investigate the interplay between many-body configuration interaction and coupling to open channels in case of the unbound nucleus 7He. It is shown that the extended DMRG procedure provides a highly accurate treatment of the coupling to the nonresonant scattering continuum. | Descripción: | 4 pages, 1 table, 3 figures.-- PACS nrs.: 05.10.Cc; 02.60.Dc; 02.70.-c; 21.60.Cs. | Versión del editor: | http://dx.doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevLett.97.110603 | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10261/15411 | DOI: | 10.1103/PhysRevLett.97.110603 | ISSN: | 0031-9007 | E-ISSN: | 1079-7114 |
