El poblamiento altomedieval de la Vega de Granada

Abstract

[ES] En este trabajo se presentan las conclusiones de un estudio de poblamiento llevado a cabo en la Vega de Granada principalmente a través de la documentación arqueológica, aunque no se han despreciado los datos ofrecidos por otro tipo de estudios. Las conclusiones permiten realizar sugerencias acerca del proceso de evolución social que tuvo lugar en los primeros siglos de dominación islámica de la Península Ibérica.ABSTRACT: In this paper the conclusions of a study on the settlement system in the Vega of Granada are presented. This work has been carried out mainly through archaeological documentation, but data coming from other kinds of studies have also been considered. The conclusions allow us to propose suggestions about the process of social evolution that took place in the first centuries of Islamic domination of the Iberian Peninsula.
